What’s this Christmas voucher campaign?
If you buy a smartphone direct from us, we’ll give you a leaflet that’ll get you a £20 voucher. You can spend it at Argos, Amazon, Debenhams or Next.
You can also get a few smartphones on O2 from Argos. If you do, you’ll get a £20 Argos voucher.

When’s the campaign running?
We’re kicking the campaign off in Argos on 17 October, and in our shops from 1 November. It’ll finish on 24 December.
Getting the voucher
How do I get my voucher?
When you buy your phone we’ll give you a leaflet. This will feature a code and a web address. Wait for a day after buying your phone, then go to the website, put in your details and we’ll email your voucher in the next 28 days.
How long have I got to get my voucher?
You need to go online and put in your details before 31 January 2013.
Where do I find my phone’s IMEI?
The quickest way is to type *#06# into the call window on your phone. Your IMEI number will come up on your screen.
It’s also printed on your handset, under the battery (certain handsets), and on the side of the box your phone comes in.

When can I start spending my voucher?
As soon as we’ve emailed it to you.
Where can I spend my voucher?
If you buy one of these phones direct from us, you can claim a £20 voucher to spend at any of the following:
- Amazon (online only)
- Argos (in-store only)
- Debenhams (in-store only)
- Next (online only)
If you buy one of these phones from Argos, you can claim a £20 Argos voucher.
How long have I got to spend my voucher?
It depends on who you decide to spend your voucher with – each shop has a different use-by date. If you check the small print on your voucher you should find all you need to know.
It’s been more than 28 days since I put my details into the website, but I still haven’t had my voucher. What should I do?
Check your junk folder. If the voucher isn’t in there, give us a call.
I didn’t get a leaflet when I bought my phone, so how do I get a unique claim code?
Give us a call and we’ll help you out.
I got a leaflet about the voucher when I bought my phone, but when I try to claim it the website says ‘IMEI is not applicable’. What should I do?
If you didn’t buy one of those phones, you shouldn’t have been given the leaflet. So you won’t be able to get a £20 voucher. Sorry about that.
The website says my unique code has already been used – what should I do?
If you haven’t used your code before, give us a call.
If you have used your code, sorry but you can only use it once.
The website says my IMEI code has already been used – what should I do?
If you haven’t used your IMEI code to claim your £20 voucher before, give us a call.
Can I change the shop my voucher is for?
Sorry, we can’t exchange or refund the vouchers.
I haven’t got an email address – can I still get the voucher?
Because we email you the voucher, you need to have an email address.
You can either set one up, or ask a friend or someone in your family if you can send the voucher to their email address. Then you can use it.
The shop won’t accept my voucher – what should I do?
Sorry, but we can’t help you. You’ll need to get in touch with the shop. Please see contact numbers below.
